Key Requirements for LLC Registration

Founders. A company may be established by one or more founders – either individuals or legal entities, including foreign nationals or companies.

Share Capital. The minimum share capital is 1 Ukrainian hryvnia (UAH). However, we recommend determining a higher amount that reasonably covers the company’s startup needs. The share capital must be paid in within six months from the registration date.

Director. The director must be a natural person. A foreign citizen may serve as director only after obtaining a work permit in Ukraine.

Legal Address. Every company must have a registered legal address in Ukraine.

Timeframe. The registration timeline depends on the company structure and readiness of documentation. On average, the process takes 7 to 20 business days.

Accounting and Reporting
All companies registered in Ukraine are required to maintain accounting records and submit financial reports in accordance with national standards. Minimum reporting includes a balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
